The Humane Society of Hobart builds pet families by providing homeless pets in need medical care, shelter, dietary nourishment, and enrichment and training so that they may be placed for adoption into the homes of loving lifesavers!

Our adoption fees include spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, medical removal of internal and external parasites (worms, fleas, and ticks), a microchip, and free health check. Pet insurance is also available through adoption. Providing vaccinations and spay/neuter surgeries prior to adoption coupled with our open and inclusive adoption policy we have removed barriers for pet families who wish to adopt.

We are building a more compassionate community through our pets and they are set up for success before they go home. This allows for a shorter length of stay and significant decrease in illness, injury, and euthanasia.

A cat adoption fee is $90.00, kittens $125.00, puppies $300.00, small dogs $200.00, and large dog fees are $100.00.
