Thank you to Chloe Gilsinger, a student at Valparaiso University!!
"One of the classes I am currently enrolled in is titled “Animals and Ourselves” and focuses on connecting with animals. The class has opened our eyes to the struggle of animals all over the world. For our end-of-the-year project, we were assigned to choose a problem related to animals that we wanted to help solve on a local level, and we chose to help shelters. Our goal was to tackle the ongoing issue of shelter overpopulation by targeting it at the root, unwanted litters.
Many pet owners are misinformed about the benefits of fixing their pets, or need financial help to get their animals spayed and neutered, unwanted litters are the result of this. We want to tackle this issue by making resources available for them, and your website was very helpful. Our goal is to create a poster with information to hang up in a local address, This poster would contain facts and a QR code to help people access resources they may need.
