NEED: Brag about your pet to inspire more adoptions!
Share how your adopted pet's love brings joy or strength into your life in a Love Story. The goal of your story? Show the world that adopted pets are more than “shelter pets” – they change our lives for the better.
Submit your Love Story by 11:59pm CST, September 29 for a chance to score fun surprises for you and your pet and earn your pet’s adoption organization a grant of up to $100,000 to create more life-changing matches.

HELP NEEDED - at our $0 Cost Adult Animal Adoption Weekend at the shelter

September 20 and 21st 2025

Must be an approved HSH Volunteer
Help the increased visitors on these days of our "$0 Adoption Fees Weekend" during ASPCA's "Rescue Affect" program. *ADULT PETS ONLY*
NEED: volunteers to help direct adopters, put away donations, and capture photos during the event. An HSH booth should be onsite this weekend with merch and outreach material. Press may be attending during this event.

HELP NEEDED - Jordan's Way Fundraiser at the shelter

Our friend Chris from Jordan's Way will be at The Humane Society of Hobart once again for a HIGH ENERGY event to raise as many donations as possible in a single day!! This event has volunteers, staff, and board members participating in FUN and CRAZY challenges! It was incredible last year and we are looking for MORE excitement, MORE friends to join us, and MORE funds rasised for our shelter!!
