The Humane Society of Hobart is hosting our 2nd Annual LIVE Virtual Telethon fundraiser. There’s never been an event like ours in NW Indiana! Our goal is to raise $50,000 to provide food, shelter, medical care and more for the animals at HSH. Proceeds support the mission of The Humane Society of Hobart to build and strengthen pet families. Humane Society of Hobart is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization.
HSH’s Virtual Telethon takes place on Saturday, September 18, 2021 from noon until 8:00pm on Facebook Live.
HSH will partner with our friends in the community to create live content to stream through Facebook Live. Viewers can interact with our guests, or just sit back and enjoy the show! We will have panels of volunteers working the phones to take your live donations. You can also donate through a special secure link during the telethon.

2021 continues to present new challenges for us all. HSH had to close our doors to visitors during the height of the pandemic, but we were the only shelter in Lake County, Indiana to continue to take in stray animals during the entire pandemic. During the COVID-19 shutdown, your support helped over 250 animals who had nowhere else to go. Because of your support and the undying commitment from our community, we have remained open with an intake of 2,200 homeless pets in 2020 alone.
These animals are just the beginning. We are committed to continue to serve the needs of pet families in Hobart, Lake Station, New Chicago, and beyond. Together, we can help many more animals find the loving homes they deserve. Will you join us?

Watch our Virtual Telethon event on Facebook Live the day of the event - SEPTEMBER 18, noon to 6:00pm.
When you log on and watch, Facebook calculates the amount of watchers and could give us advertising funds if we reach their criteria. If you miss some content, all will be posted on our YouTube Channel afterwards.
Help us reach our goal of $20,000 during the 12 hour Virtual Telethon by donating or sharing this fundraiser with friends & family on social media so they can donate as well.
